Mitres are a term used for the angle cuts of the cornice, or coving, which join in every corner, both interior & exterior of your room, and must be cut at a certain angle so that each length of cornice, or coving, on every single wall/ceiling edge, butts in to the next length of cornice, or coving perfectly, once every piece is fixed to the perimeter of the ceiling
