Handy book covering tricky skills for texturing ceilings. The section on matching existing textures during repairs was exactly what I needed to match existing ceiling during remodeling. The book helped me identify the proper technique, and with a few minutes practice, I matched the old ceiling very well, even to my critical eye. Some difference in terminology between UK and US, but the photos help one identify the items when names are unfamiliar.

Dales step by step guide leads you through all the types of ceiling & wall cover and gives you practical tips backed up with clear photographs. I especially appreciated the section on smoothing over existing wall coverings and ceiling repair as my home is stuck in a time warp and greatly needs updating. Whether your an extreme novice or an expert, this book contains all the information you need to get the job done with minimum fuss, with self explanatory photo's and clear step by step instructions it gave me the confidence to tackle the jobs I thought were for professionals only.
